P1 – Logo Branding
Today, you have the chance to brainstorm your illustration logo, think about the name you want to go by, see if the domain is available etc…
- 35 logo sketches/studies (present top 5 as individual jpgs for fist logo sketch critique)
- Logo presentation
- Black & White Logo Development
- Develop optional Color version, if applicable.
Submit all process work on Dropbox as JPGS. The final logo file can be turned in as a high res, black and white jpg (nothing else should be on that file).

Also, bring a printed copy of your logo to final Black & White AND final COLOR critiques. On an 8.5″ x 11″ sheet, test what your logo will look like in 3 sizes:
- Large Size
- Medium Size (the size you think it might be on your stationery)
- Small (what happens when it is really tiny, can you still read it?)
