EX6 – One Page Marketing Calendar
Follow demo from lecture.
- Using a new spreadsheet, list all the marketing events & tools across the top. Some ideas would be:
- Holidays
- Events/Shows
- Contests/Giveaways
- Blog
- Phone Call
- Physical Direct-Mail
- Social Media
- Videos
- Website Updates
- Art Development
- List all the months along the side. Make sure you have 4 rows per month to have room for all 4 weeks. It may be a good idea to color coordinate the rows from each month. You may want to work into the next year as well. This calendar is designe to cycle out. So, if you start in April, start then and then work until next April or even next December.
- In the cross section box add details on what you will do and any details like themes or campaign titles.
- For example on the second row in February, in the Holidays column, I would write “Valentines-14.” The number represents the date to you don’t have to always look them up later.
- You may also want to add in the estimated budget for each week across all categories. Then add up the sum of all the 52 weeks to get an idea what your annual marketing budget looks like.
