EX9 – Keywords and SEO

Make a top 10 keyword list, 1-2 sentence description, keyword heavy title.

Time to do a little more writing . . .

First: Ask yourself the question, “What words will my prospective art buyer type into a search engine in order to find someone who does what I do?”

  • You are looking for phrases that have 3-4 words in them.
  • You want between 10-20 keyword phrases that you are are going to optimize your site for

Now use that information to complete this exercise.

1. Keywords/Keyword Phrases in a list in the order of importance
(min 10, max 20)

2. Description (Write this using your keywords. Aim for about 160 characters, including spaces.)

3. Site Title (include descriptive words here. I suggest starting with your keywords, then your name i.e. “Character Design | Joe Schmooze Illustration”)

Upload to EX9 on Dropbox and print it out for your Marketing Binder
