Ex 5 – Submit estimate, terms & invoice

Get your business paperwork ready so you can start quoting on jobs. In this exercise you will create a boilerplate estimate, terms and invoice with your company branding (i.e. your new business logo!) 🙂

1. Dream up a simple illustration commission project for an imaginary client.

2. Create an estimate and terms that you will present to your imaginary client. Complete with pricing, schedule, and deliverables.

3. Create an invoice you will present to your client with the balance due.

*Important: Use the GAG book as your guide. Import the legal language and understand it to the best of you ability. We will discuss pricing strategies and what to include in your paperwork for informational purposes only, please consult your legal council for specific direction regarding your actual business needs.

Due Wednesday Feb 24 at the end of class.

1. Submit digital files on LMS as PDFs
2. PRINT actual copies to turn in as well.
